Meet Ashley
Ashley Davis (she/her) is an associate-level therapist who strongly believes in the potential of her clients to pursue growth and healing. She is deeply honored to walk alongside individuals in their therapy journeys and strives to create a safe space for her clients to explore life's challenges.
Ashley’s clinical experience began at a non-profit dedicated to providing affordable eating disorder care to individuals in need. There, she developed a passion for helping those recover from disordered eating, body image challenges, and the impact of trauma on current functioning. Ashley also serves as the Team Lead at The Renfrew Center of Nashville, leading a multidisciplinary team in the treatment of eating disorders at the PHP and IOP levels of care. She is excited to apply what she's learned at a higher level of care to her outpatient work at Marigold!
Ashley's approach is warm, relational, and strengths-focused, often incorporating humor when appropriate. She utilizes a blend of modalities, including IFS, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness. She also has experience utilizing Cognitive Processing Therapy in the treatment of trauma. In addition to eating disorders, she has experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues, and more. She is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community, aligns with Health at Every Size principles, and works from a trauma-informed lens.
When she's not in her therapist chair, you can find Ashley cheering on her beloved Vanderbilt Commodores, watching Jeopardy, hiking with her fiancé, or cuddling with her cat, Darcy. She also loves to travel -- ask her about her time living in Scotland and South Africa!
Ashley is under clinical supervision with Sam Carter-Orbke (LPC-MHSP).
