Meet Hillary

Hillary (she/her) moved to Nashville for graduate school at the University of Tennessee with her therapy dog, Ellie, and decided to make Nashville her home after graduation.  She is passionate that her purpose in life is to help support others and has spent the last decade pursuing this goal. Hillary has worked with the Big Brothers Big Sisters non-profit organization, in non-profit mental health, and in private group therapy practice settings.  She specializes in areas including anxiety, depression, women’s issues, perinatal and postpartum transitions and trauma, life transitions, and dating and relationship concerns. She facilitates group therapy as well as individual therapy. Hillary works with clients 18+ and occasionally accepts adolescents on a case-by-case basis.

Clients can expect their work with Hillary to be a non-judgmental, empathetic, and thought-provoking experience designed to meet their needs and therapeutic goals. In group therapy, she utilizes a modern analytic approach and limits group capacity to 7 participants for more in-depth processing. She is down to earth and utilizes humor in her sessions as well as feedback to ensure her clients get the best experience possible.

Outside of being a therapist, Hillary can be found working out at her local YMCA, going on daily power-walks with her dog Ellie, and connecting with friends and family while drinking large amounts of coffee.

Hillary facilitates the Tough as a Mother Process Group. Click here to learn more!
