Meet Kim

Kim was born and raised in Charleston, SC and continues to hold the Lowcountry near and dear to her heart. After graduating from her counseling degree at Vanderbilt University , she gained clinical experience in various settings including a holistic mental health treatment center, college counseling center, and in private practice. Kim specializes in areas including anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, women’s issues, and relationship/interpersonal concerns. Kim works with the emerging-adult and adult populations.

Kim’s therapeutic style is non-judgmental, empathetic, and direct; with the ability to incorporate humor and playfulness when appropriate. Kim practices from an identity-inclusive lens, is an LGBTQ+ ally, as well as a Health at Every Size therapist. Kim is committed to providing affirming care to those of all identities.

Outside of the office, Kim can be found taking walks with her dog, Maple, browsing a local plant store, reading, or going to see live music.
