Meet Maddy
Maddy Cook (she/her) is an associate licensed marriage and family therapist who is passionate about helping clients understand the deeper roots of their struggles and create meaningful, lasting change. She believes therapy is not just about addressing symptoms, but about exploring the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world.
Maddy specializes in working with women navigating self-worth and confidence, body image concerns, disordered eating, trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, perinatal and postpartum experiences, and relational challenges. She also enjoys working with couples seeking to strengthen communication, connection, and understanding within their relationships. Maddy works with adolescents, adults, and couples.
Maddy’s therapeutic style is warm, relational, authentic, and direct. She creates a space where clients feel supported while also encouraged to explore difficult experiences and move toward growth. Maddy integrates ACT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, and inner child work to help clients process their stories, reconnect with their values, and develop a stronger sense of self. She also welcomes integrating faith and spirituality into therapy for clients who desire it.
Outside of the office, Maddy enjoys spending time with her husband, staying active together at the gym, relaxing at home with her dog Honey and cat Coco, getting lost in a good book, working on a needlepoint project, and gathering with friends for a game of mahjong.
