Meet Morgan

Morgan (she/her) is a Master’s-level, pre-licensed clinician at Vanderbilt University who is devoted to helping people who feel like they don't belong to create a sense of “home.” Although Morgan has trained in a variety of settings, her most prominent clinical experience stems from three years working for The Trevor Project’s national crisis hotline. There, she offered counseling to people who often carried a deep sense of shame, struggled to trust others, and no longer wished to be alone on their road to healing. With an unrelenting respect for their truths, Morgan offered a nonjudgemental space for them to process complicated feelings and develop new capacities for health and well-being in their lives. Whether you struggle with depression, feel unsatisfied with the level of anxiety in your life, or are struggling to live your own dreams, Morgan’s therapy office is a safe place for you to take bold steps into a new story.

Morgan works with adult survivors of childhood trauma, artists and creatives of all kinds, and couples. In couples work, Morgan focuses on honoring participants’ worldviews, building emotional safety, and increasing the connectedness, mutual appreciation, and aliveness of relationships. Her therapeutic approach is integrative—she draws on existentialism, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, psychodynamic theory, expressive arts, and attachment theory. She identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and is aligned with Health at Every Size principles. Neurodivergence is warmly welcome in her office.

She considers it an honor to be someone’s therapist, and does not take that privilege lightly.

Outside of her role as a therapist, Morgan enjoys experimenting with different kinds of art, learning new crafts, baking sourdough bread, building campfires, and getting out in the garden or the woods.
