Hearing: Listen for three sounds around you. Whether it's the hum of a fan, birds chirping outside, or distant traffic, tuning in to your environment can ground you in the moment.
Smell: Identify two things you can smell. You might notice a nearby candle, fresh air, or your cup of coffee. Taking a deep breath and focusing on these scents can be surprisingly calming.
Taste: Focus on one thing you can taste. It could be a sip of water or a piece of gum. Even if you’re not eating or drinking, just noticing the natural taste in your mouth can help ground you.
